The health and safety of our community and Hockey Manitoba members is of utmost importance and we will return to play when it is safe to do so. Physical distancing, mask wearing, proper hygiene, and screening are necessary steps that must be practiced in order to return to hockey safely and will assist in reducing the risk to the hockey community.

Please review the Hockey Manitoba return to play plan from this link. Hockey Manitoba: "On August 12, 2020, Hockey Manitoba received approval from the Provincial Health Authorities to launch Phase 2 of our RTP document. This was a significant step, which was welcomed by Hockey Manitoba and confirmed the support of Sport Manitoba and the Provincial Health Authorities as we worked in unison to ensure our organization installed the necessary steps and protocols for a safe and healthy return to hockey. The past month Manitoba has witnessed a significant spike in the reported cases of COVID-19 and without the concerted effort of our entire membership to support our existing plan we run the risk of exposure and possible transmission of the virus that could force the Health Authorities to take the appropriate action that may include shutting down our program. This is certainly something our entire organization wants to avoid and to alleviate this possibility we need your support. Yes, hockey will be returning but please do not underestimate the importance of compliance, accepting the new normal, and the steps we will all be required to implement to apply extra layers of safety for our members. Your support, effort and contribution are appreciated as we collectively work together in the safe return to hockey."
